My complaint:
My fiance and I had reservations for room from the 8th to the 15th which we did check in for we were going to be leaving to Jersey at the end of our stay during the time we stayed here I found out that he was using again this caused many issues especially since I was to be leaving to Jersey with him on Tuesday evening I came home and he was unbelievably out of control and high out of his mind I told him I would not be leaving with him to go to Jersey that it was not the life I was going to live he responded by telling me fine if I didn’t want to be with him then I didn’t need to be there and threw my belongings outside and managed to keep the sound to a low and gather my things into a hallway where I could repack them there was never any disturbance calls or issues made known to the hotel or anybody else other than embarrassingly having to deal with it myself this is a male assistant manager that next morning wandered by me as he was on his way to work as if I was okay and explain to him that I was not going to be returning to my room they given the fact that it just happened I wasn’t sure exactly what I was doing but I would wait till he went to work so there was no issues and would gather anything else that was mine and will be leaving out of room he was fine with this just asked that I please have it cleaned up prior to his DM coming to property so there would be no issues I promised that that would not be a problem that it would be cleaned up then you just do laundry anyway so would repack things in there while I do laundry during this time I made acquaintance with a young man that just started a new job that had been staying in a hotel and was short on his room well it seems kind of an answer to both of our problems if I paid the half that he was needing really get caught up and I would have time to figure out what to do since I was no longer going to be leaving to Jersey so I gave him 200 that Thursday the 14th which would pay us up to the 21st I believe during the week I had ran into this manager again and I think him for his patience and apologize if there was any inconvenience as well as we spoke about the new restrictions on the smoking on property everything was fine all the sudden Saturday evening there’s a knock at the door by manager of property saying that I am no longer allowed on property due to their findings of paraphernalia in the other room I explained to her that I had nothing to do with the other room I had not been there since that Wednesday and the assistant manager was aware of this and that yes is embarrassing as it is to say that they found paraphernalia in the room that this was the reason of our arguments and why I had left that I could not be responsible for what he did in the room or when he left in the room from the time that had been there that following Wednesday. I had just given them $200 to catch up this room and that was all I had and I had nowhere else to go as well as I had nothing to do with what was in that room she would not listen. So not to cause a problem cuz I know it would not help me it might be in my favor I packed my things and left with nowhere to go they began to rain and I literally slept in the rain in the building vacant building next door which is where I still am with nowhere to go and no money to go anywhere else I can understand if we have had disturbances and we’ve been kicked off property but there never was and because of me being so discreet no one even knew what was even going on which is what I thought was best besides it was embarrassing enough that I was dealing with it I can’t be responsible for what he left in the room between Wednesday and Friday however this is imagine new that I was no longer in that room and the room was not longer in my name as well as new that I was staying in the other room and would never said that there was an issue never told me I was not allowed on property if I had known that there was going to be an issue I could have taken that $200 and gone anywhere else however I stayed where I was because it was a fast fix to the means especially with not having a vehicle I feel this is wrong and at the least if they want me to move my remaining days to a different hotel fine but to take the money kick me out for what someone else did and leave me literally on the street I feel is straight crazy
Suggested solution:
If I am unable to stay here and then take the remaining days of transfer to a different hotel if that makes them feel more comfortable.
