My complaint:

On March 2, I was trying to place an order and got logged out. I thought it was a software glitch and and tried to log in, then being ed to verify my identity. Thinking nothing of it, I verified and got it processed and agent told me I should be good to go. Then trying to log in and place order again, I got locked out again with no information.

Trust and Safety sent no information detailing reason behind being locked. Trust and Safety has done wrong by me. I have been calling up a storm and misled in all sorts of direction.

I have been a member for 4 years, Instacart Membership and been left in the dust and felt like a slap in the face being called a fraud despite having a successful delivery on March 4, 2023.

I have been desperately trying to get on the phone with SOMEONE to talk to and Instacart has been failing. I have talked to several agents and supervisors Ivonne and Leah, both of whom did their best to help me and verified how they see how I got locked out, but verified my identity. Leah informed me on March 4, 2023 one should wait 24 hours for system to update before trying purchases which is why I got locked out again.

This information is NOT made clearly known to customer on app nor was any email correspondence sent. I use Instacart to get groceries for me and my family, help with food banks and charities to help people get food and Instacart has caused IMMENSE distress and inconvenience by this scenario.

And to find out how me helping someone else get groceries could be the reason why IM punished is adding insult to injury after a recent speculation by an amazing agent Maurice who sympathized and understood my plight. Instacart needs to do better by their loyal customers and be transparent. I want my account back and proper due compensation for the distress they caused me especially since I depend on them to get food in my area.

Suggested solution:

Reinstate my account and compensate for the distress they caused me, as their supervisor promised I would be entitled to compensation.
