My complaint:

I was trying to simply add my debit card to Google pay at the end of set up it asked how would you like to verify? It then gave me 2 options
1 by phone number(contact your bank if out of date)
2 call your bank
Since I hadn’t yet updated my phone number I chose call bank I was then informed I HAD to update my phone number before adding to Google pay
I asked to speak with a supervisor things only got worse from there she talked over me cut me off kept repeating herself as if I was dumb and didn’t understand what she meant I told her I doubt I would have been given the option call bank if it wasn’t possible to verify that way she then asked me to verify my address card number I gave them the only address I’ve EVER had with that bank she said nope wrong all snotty the zip code is wrong when in fact it’s not there is only one glendale zip in the area I live in how can it be wrong she then proceeded to tell me my card number I gave her was wrong I told her oh my God are you kidding me I’m looking right the hell at it I’m beyond frustrated amd pissed at this point she then decides to HANG UP ON ME this is the SUPERVISOR did I mention that? So I call back the automated thing has me verify everything she asked me and what do you know it was correct because it took me straight to my account!!!! The customer service with this bank is one of the most unprofessional, unknowledgeable, rude and just plain horrible than any other I have encountered. Hanging up on a customer is unacceptable u less I was dropping the f bomb or racial slurs it is their job to handle calls no matter what even the not so nice ones if they cannot and just find hanging up on them a resolution then I’ll definitely be closing my account immediately as I don’t want a bank that lies to me hangs up on me and doesn’t even know what their talking about. I called bank and was refused a supervisor unless I gave all my account info to a customer service rep that didnt even need it inwasnt going to give it a million times I ended up hanging up on her because she took talked over me was rude and refused my request because i wohld not give her my account info.. needless to say this is the worst bank for disputes customer care and anything else bank related. I will be posting this on all my social media I’m an influencer and have about 20 million followers so it makes me happy it will reach a lot of viewers the supervisor refused to tell me again what her name was but the rep i spoke to her name was Ashley

Suggested solution:

Be more professional stop talking over your customers stop lying to your customers there is no way to fix this issue for me but in the future for other customers stop being like this you've lost at least one customer because of it and now out of the 20million followers inhave I wonder how many bank with go2bank and will also close their accounts. I hope all of them I would give ZEROstars if that were an option
