My complaint:
In the complaint I’m against an employee named Valerie I went to Giant yesterday and she was very nasty towards me I have an old EBT card so you have to type the numbers in. Now she got involved because there was a new person I guess that did not know how to use the system. And she told me that I needed to supply ID for my purchase which is unheard of because I go to the Giants all over and stop shop and no one ever asked me for my id with that being said I gave it to her but I said I don’t think you need that just type in the number so I can finish my purchase she implied that it was an email that came out yesterday that we now have to show IDs for EBT cards. I told her I don’t think that’s true because the couple before me had a swipe EBT card and no one asked him for their ID. With that being said she became very irate and she told the new worker that he’s not allowed to type in any information for EBT purchases and once again that’s false because I have an old EBT card that requires you to type not swipe and I’ve been making purchases in giant since the beginning of me even shopping and no one ever asked me to show a ID. They just type my information and it was over with I went on with my purchases. If this is Giants practice this is something I need to know because I’m not going to be carded it like I’m a underage person and I’m not going to be carded like I’m trying to defraud the system or steal from your store. This person needs to be talked to and going over about how to treat people and what are your company practices because I don’t believe you sent the email yesterday stating what she was saying

How do you resolve my complaint by retraining this lady on culture bias and how to respect the people that are coming to the store to shop. And make sure she's aware of the EBT cards
