My complaint:

I would like to highlight the sequence of events that have led to my current state of dissatisfaction and frustration. On 7th July 2023, I made a flight booking through FlightHub for a total amount of $2087. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel the booking within 24 hours of making the reservation. Upon reviewing your website, I noted that there was a clear and specific refund policy in place, allowing for refunds within the first 24 hours of booking, subject to certain charges.

I proceeded to cancel the booking within the stipulated time frame and expected the refund process to be executed in accordance with the policy. Regrettably, more than a month has passed since the cancellation, and I have only received a refund of $100, which is a mere fraction of the total amount paid. This glaring discrepancy between the policy and the actual refund provided has left me deeply dissatisfied with the level of service I have received from FlightHub.

Furthermore, I have been informed that the reason for the delayed and inadequate refund is attributed to the airline’s failure to provide the necessary funds. While I understand that they operate as a booking agent, it is my firm belief that FlightHub holds the responsibility for ensuring a seamless and timely refund process, as explicitly stated in the refund policy. This is particularly evident in the case of other booking services that adhere to a 24-hour refund policy, which underscores the industry standard for customer satisfaction.

Suggested solution:

Provide at least 90% refund amount
