My complaint:

Good afternoon, hope you are well.

I have booked a trip for myself and my husband at Flight centre Clearwater mall.
We booked on the Wednesday 12 July 2023 and departure on the 14th of July 2023.
I specifically ask the young guy at Clearwater, we ant a Mauritius holiday with a nice beach and a swimming pool, we decided also on full board.

He did not tell us about everything we needed to know about the Hotel.

I told him I had a shoulder operation and need to get away for a bit.

Arriving at the hotel, we were told it is a 0 plastic hotel.
Meaning they don’t stock anything in the rooms. You have to go to a shop in the hotel a get a small bottle of
Coffe
Team sugar
Powder milk.
Snack in a small brown bag.
You have to stand and wait like a little child for these rewards

If you want cold drinks of beer, you have to ask the little shop please can I have
Sprite
Pepsi zero
Beer

You only allowed to have 2 per person.

What upset me most is that, this young man did not tell us there are no swimming beach in front of our hotel, according to the hotel you have to book the previous night before if you want to go to the swimming beach then a small boat come and collect you and take you to the swimming beach.

We have to order a lunch box as well to take over to the swimming beach.

We got married in Mauritius (next year it will be 20 years back.)

I have never ever experienced such a hotel and did not mentally prepare myself for something like this. I feel like a kid in a boarding school and with my shoulder operation going on a rocky windy sea just to get to a swimming beach that up sets me a lot.

The hotel is here for many years, this is not the hotels fault, this is unexperienced young guy that have no clue of Tropical resort in Mauritius. I have been in Mauritius for more then 6 times and always experience a fanta9trip even before covid when Ambre was hit by a storm 500 km in to the sea and washed our beach away, our hotel made it possible for us to enjoy it (this was booked via flight centre as well)

When Mauritius opened up after covid we were here as first guest to enjou6a beautiful sunny Mauritius at Victoria

The service I received from Johnathon from flight centre Clearwater mall is absolutely discusting. He don’t know how to handle the situation. We.told.him this morning we going to take a taxi to go and find a beach were we can go and swim….. Not going over with a boat that is rocking so bad and my shoulder can’t handle it. (we told the hotel we won’t be going over to the swimming beach as the water was to rocky.

Since this morning we trying to get him to speak to the hotel as they are our agents and he did not tell us about no swimming beach, no service in Room (full board) and and and….. He now get a lady to communicate with us, and then she send me a what’s up to say the hotel spoke to me……. We did not even speak to the hotel 📍 but in the same mesaage she stipulate a ldy from the hotel will speak to us., I have forwarded a snapshot of her message and told her what do you actually say…… We spoke to her or what. I told her we work on wifi and she can check delivery time of message.

Now they don’t want to take the responsibility of correcting this young man’s mistake for booking us in, in a wrong hotel. They tell us we now need to speak to the hotel they can’t do anything from their side.

We now stuck in a hotel that we did not ask for we ask for a hotel with a room on the beach and a swimming beach, we ask for full board but we have to go and stand like children and sign for any beverage we want and then walk to our Oom and put it in our fridge.

My heart is broken for a SA travel agency to just drop you in the deep water not apologizing for this young man’s mistake., rather to cover up for his mistakes.
Her last message is, we have to sort it out with hotel.

And again I repeat myself the hotel is here for years this is there standards, this young man is not trained nor experience to send people on a holiday that he have no clue of were they go and what they Going to get on the other side…… This was a quick commission.

Please would you be so kind as to tell me what to do next to lay a complain against Flight centre Clearwater mall. I am very very unhappy in our hotel as this is definitely not what we payed for.

I am stuck in a hotel that we not expected to be. We need to be refunded for the next few days to move to a hotel that offers us exactly what we requested by this unexperienced young man at Flight centre Clearwater mall
