My complaint:
Dear FIFA,
Please change your handball rules and please stop referees giving out penalties for unavoidable touches, shots smashing into arms and for horrible insidious dives. It is thoroughly unfair and i am very close to just giving up entirely on football.
It beggars belief what I’m seeing. England vs Switzerland was a sham. Could you not at least introduce in the box free kicks to deal with shots hitting players outstretched arms?
It ruins games. It’s ruining football for me. VAR has made refereeing a joke and strongly assists teams who are attacking but ruins their attacks, turning them into embarrassing bureaucratic formalities.
Suggested solution:
By changing the refereeing guidelines about unavoidable hand balls and awarding penalties for diving in the box.
