My complaint:

I am a New Zealand citizen I boarded my flight from New Delhi to Abu Dhabi on 26th of August, 2023. The experience I had with the staff on the check-in was terrible.

I was asked for my passport by an Etihad employee named Mrinmoy Majumdar and did his check; however, he came back and asked for the passport again and questioned my visa to the UK, which was self-explanatory, but I still explained to him (which he should have known). Moreover, he was rude and acted intimidated; he asked for my passport multiple times even after he had been told by his manager that everything was all good. In the end, he approached me Aggressively, asked me my name and said, I will show you, and ran off to the counter and did something; when I asked him what he did, he did, and he did not say anything.

It was a very terrible experience, and I felt harassed and embarrassed. I felt the employee had a power rush and wanted to prove his point. There was not one in the team to take action on his behaviour. I want to make this complaint and hope you take action against it.

Suggested solution:

Take action and better training.
