DoorDash complaint: Never received refund

My complaint:

I was supposed to receive a refund because a restaurant was unable to fulfill my order because they didn’t have it in stock. I was craving teriyaki ordered it with the last money I had on my card spending $51.12 thinking I was going to get amazing food. But, got a text from a door dash driver saying that I needed to cancel my order because they didn’t have the food i wanted. I messaged the door dash customer service and they said that that’s true and that they would cancel my order for me and refund me. The refund was unable to go through so he said he would send it to the escalation team and someone would get back to me within 24 hours. I waited and no one got back to me. So I called and was told the same thing again, to wait 24 hours for a response from the escalation team which I never heard. I texted and someone reassured me that I would get my refund and I never did. This isn’t $10.00 were talking about. You literally took $51.12 of mine and never returned it. I never got any food or any compensation. I’ve never had problems with door dash before. I’ve spent thousands of dollars with them and I’m confused as why they aren’t listening to me. There’s no way to get a hold of the escalation department nor manager. I was told yesterday that someone would get a hold of me within 3 hours from the manager department and once again no one ever got ahold of me. This has gone on way too long and this is ridiculous.

Suggested solution:

Giving me my money back and compensate me more for the troubles and time it's been to even talk to someone in charge. This is really how they do business?
