My complaint:
I went in to pick up a few items this afternoon from the local D. G. Now I will say that my son does work there and his resister was the only one open, so I had to use it. I was informed by the Acting Manager that my son should not be checking me out.
But the manager had already closed his requester for the evening and there was no were else for me to go. This done in a rude matter and in front of a long line of people who was waiting to check out. If I can not use the registers that are available then I will shop else where and encourage other to do the same. I will not shop where I am treated so like that. My son came home tonight and apologized for the managers behavior towards me.
He should not feel like he has to do that. A manager should set the example for the employees to follow.
Suggested solution:
I feel that the manager should write me an apology and his attitude needs to change towards customers as a whole. I know He is only here until the manager gets back from training, but something should be done. Actions should have consequences.
