DHgate.com complaint: Seller on DHGate tried old scam wanted more money – old scam called bait switch

My complaint:

AvonAvon is the Seller looked good at first, BUT, in Last year alone almost 30 feedbacks. this is truly awful especially when I tell you that DHGate feedback is only allowed to be left when order has been shipped you are ONLY happy with it. IF you request refund…YOU cannot leave feedback, SO…anyone hopping to get a little money back THEY can’t even leave feedback. What does this mean. The app is PRO seller NOT buyer. This is why no sellers have feedback or transactions…it’s all just a big chance of bad sellers, the, protected further…by the app,,, not the app investigation, or removing sellers for false advertising and breaking contracts….it’s all fair game just a huge game of who can get better scams! AvonAvon did me good! Broke our contract was selling his stores one Avon Avon and another cant remember now, buy in health and beauty products, was selling fake dyson SuperSonics. I attempted to use the DHGate app for first time, said I would try 5 orders. Out of 5 orders only 1 seller actually shipped, we will see what he shipped though. The others I had to cancel for one reason or another, mostly sellers doing behavior that is illigal or should have been removed for fraudulent behavior. My worst order went like this. Made order for super sonic, with seller AvonAvon, was for at first 71.00 something, I did not pay yet, but order was cancelled…I did not pay so the contract was NOT legal and binding. I then got to know program better felt better with proceeding ahead and found AvonAvon sellers other listing which was exact same pictures and descriptions but now up to 100.00…, but I paid, got my messages from app saying congrats. Heard nothing from seller for a week. I contacted him asking him to ship. I knew something was wrong when I checked the listing a few days after listing found it was a invalid page on web,when I questioned him on page being gone, instead of saying please don’t worry it’s nothing. His weird reaction was if you worry then cancel, i won’t rush, then he asked me to cancel then. He said he was not rushing if I was worried about order I should cancel! Then I got message days later that he wanted more money for machine, I told him our contact was legal and binding and I dont send more money, that is what scammers do, an old scam called « Bait n Switch my Grandfather told me about. My attorney is looking into his time. He like me does things to make things better. This seller needs to be stopped now! A good 250000 lawsuit will teach him. My attorney said it not even going over, I am being reasonable, that if his firms fees only. So, yeah…tired of advising people of to look things up….it’s called um. The law….most can be simple. He said he did not have the cheaper model left, only more expensive, but he needs extra 125.00 something. I told him he has exact same pictures relisted same description, a day later when I emailed the app about him he downloaded pictures from another seller store, and changed them all but front photo, then added a model number. As he first tried to tell me the more expensive had brand name on it, but I proved him that photos showed this in both listings. Then he had to try something else…So… Basically, it comes down to the old bait and switch. He is trying to say he is out of other model but just so happens to have a more expensive model. Thing is….Contract law protects us. Quid pro quo…something in exchange for money equal a contract. I paid based off of the exact pictures and listings, if he messed up that’s his problem. But I would not care normally, if it was honest. But he actually came back and sad if you want your money back, change your refund reason to you don’t want anymore instead of seller does not have!!!! Now tell me if this is not a scammer!????
DHGate should have removed him immediately…Everyone be aware they have NO FEEDBACK SYSTEM. Well, if you want to leave feedback on order you have to wait weeks until you get. Some sellers do not ship for 4 weeks, then 6 weeks it takes to get from China! How many thousands of people can be scammed in that time?????? Terrible. Plus, no way to report users immediately!!! Like ‘other’ apps. They also did no investigation of this seller! By the way…If you have an issue and want a return? If your order goes into a return status you also can’t leave feedback! So this is why sellers have no feedback…Because you either have to wait months, but if you say you don’t like and you want refund….YOU CANT LEAVE FEEDBACK. So only way if you suck it up.. please all, buyers beware on DHGate, shop somewhere safe, my review of AvonAvon I feel he is fraudster, tried to scam me and lied several times. AvanAvon refused to do right thing, did not understand that he was breaking contract law. When I told him, he did not care, all he cared about was more money. A seller has to be honest and trustworthy, and know the law. If he does not understand that all I wanted was exact picture and listing. He still had items and even admitted to it! DHGate better remove him and all sellers of his kind. AvonAvon, you should be ashamed!!!

Suggested solution:

AvonAvon should have went through with my order, or with any order WHEN SOMEONE PAYS.....THIS IS A CONTACT...you must live up you your side of what was agreed n terms. This is what it means when they say legal binding contact!!!!!;. I don\'t know how much clearer a person can be! One day you will get sued but get sued for contract price plus costs and expenses. DHGate AvonAvon and his other seller account needs to be removed before he hurts more people, scams more and your reputation gets worse. Do you think any buyer wants to risk buying on your app if you DONT protect them don\'t have feedback or automatic user notification systems.
