My complaint:

A was placed on Saturday December 31 because my basement was flooded for several days, we purchased a pump to pump the water out but it continued to flow. I am disabled and unable to get down into the basement and turn the water off so my daughter had a day off and treaded through the waste deep water to turn off the water but it kept flowing so she took pictures. The water meter is busted and needs replacing. I called on Monday and was told that I need to put the bill in my name and 150 is owned because I am the new home owner. I agreed to pay but was also told that the meter can’t be replaced because there is no heat but how can the house be heated if the furnace is not working. I’m disabled, diabetic and I need water for hydration and hygienic reasons. Please help.

Suggested solution:

Replace my water meter I’ve lived here for over 20 years and have never had a problem with the water meter but the phone representative said that it was an on going issue and I have never had to call about my meter before. Even the person who came out said that the meter was out dated.
