My complaint:
I raised an issue about a pair of shoes that has major defects on the outsole as ‘item not as described’, requesting for a refund. The shoes have big cracks on its outsole that only reveals when being bent. The seller intentionally hid away the defect by not mentioning about it in the listing, as it is not a normal vintage wear(cannot be repaired outsole will come off if I wear it), and should be mentioned according to depop seller regulation.
When taking the photo evidence, I only bent the shoes slightly, showing only 20% of the defect, thinking its enough to proof ‘item not as described’. I’m also afraid bending it more(to a degree as if I’m walking with it) will break the whole thing, which is not very ideal if I want to return it. However depop, based on a brief video seller took (very unclear, didn’t proof there was no crack on the shoes), decided the shoes is as described, without giving me a proper reason. And when I follow up with them, they never replied.
Suggested solution:
1) a refund immediately on my purchase
2) An apology about being extremely sketchy on my dispute
