My complaint:
I had a subscription with NFL in 2022 and I was not aware DAZN took over in 2023. The subscription to NFL was to watch football matches outside the US. Dazn charged my checking account $217 for the subscription on August 23. I reached out and asked them to cancel and issue a refund. I was told the subscription was canceled and the refund was issued on August 24. On August 31 dazn charged my bank account again. I do not have an account with them and i also cannot access anything Dazn related because I always get the message you cannot access this website from where you are -meaning in the US. I reached out to dazn again on 9/2 and asked them again to cancel my subscription, refund my money and delete my account information so they stop charging me. DENISA, the person I was chatting with, told me she is reaching out to refunds and they will contact me via email. She told me they are very busy and they cannot issue the refund until after a few days. I told her that is unacceptable because they should have not charged my account the second time and that they were not busy when they took my money! I asked her how I can delete my banking information from their records and she told me I need to contact my bank and out a block for dazn! How is this possible? She said that since I canceled my subscription I cannot log into that account anymore so I cannot do anything about it. Then she disconnected the chat. This is the most ridiculous interaction I had with a customer service department. How is it possible that I am told they are too busy to refund MY OWN money? And then suggest I block them from charging me again? Unacceptable. This company is a scam and they charge people’s accounts without any warning as I read on the internet others have had similar situations.
