My complaint:
I accessed your store on the corner about 2:40 pm and was immediately affronted by loud music, which I had no problem with really I like my music loud enough too. But what it was playing was inappropriate completely. Loud gangster rap spewing made me feel backward in the least. Anyway I approached the water refrigerator where I immediately felt the fridge was warmish so I went to see if there was something else that was cooler since it was well over 100°F out. I eventually just grabbed a warm water. As I approached the counter there were two black clerks working and after acknowledging them respectfully, the female clerk rang my water but it was too loud for her to hear me with the covid bearers up, so as I raised my voice a lull hit in their music so it may have seemed as if I was yelling which I kinda was due to the gangster rap. I asked what amount of money I could get for cash back and since it was limited to $40.00 and I needed $60.00 total then I went ahead and got the $40.00. One twenty dollar bill and four- fives. Which after she collected she shoved under the shield without counting it back to me, which is another issue I have encountered at almost every Circle k in Vegas, their failure to countback cash. That is to protect them as well as me. But anyway, I then took the cash verified it was all there to which they commented on like I was accusing them of theft or something rather then trying to both check it for accuracy and how to fit it in my billfold. Then I went back into the store area to find something else I didn’t need but is required to access the cash feature I required since I was twenty short still. I quickly grabbed a hotdog and rendered the line and was motioned up by the same clerk. I sat my hotdog down swiped my debit card and asked for $20.00 more. Immediately the female clerk began stating overly loudly that she did not have it…And stood back like I was just out of luck.. I said twenty dollars? really? She.acted as if I was asking for 1000 bucks or something but in an act so as to cause the black male clerk to chime into the minor transaction as well. Which cause both to go ballistic when I had issue with.her beginning to stack a grimy pile of singles together that looked wedded from a trashcan. So then that issue nearly caused a meltdown, which is what then resulted in the male clerk getting all up in the simple transaction and him giving me excuses as to what my request was doing to their ability to conduct their activities as if I were making a completely out-of-line request rather than a simple transaction request such as it was. I then said to them both that I felt there business was none of my business, but that they were making it way more than what was needed. I said, I know what it is? And went to trying to both count my wad of bills for accuracy again and to smooth them out to fit in my billfold since I was attired in shorts I had no pocketbook. They took it as if I were accusing them again only the male clerk then got racially indignant by commenting that he too knew what I meant as well. Which then I realized they took it where I did not intend it to go. I meant that it would mean she would have to expand her clerkship to preform her duty and work those things out or stop offering services that the store clerks aren’t trained to preform or isn’t automatically done for them. At any rate the male then said.a bunch of very inappropriate things that I found offensive, but then made 100% worse by him coming from behind the counter and approaching me menacingly. And this made me fare for my safety and him spewing racial threats saying the N-word over and over he then encroached on my personal space and assaulted me with his actions. I then warned him if he battered me in the slightest I would be forced to prosecute him to the fullest. He then stated, I don’t give a fuck about this job, my nigger! All-the-while doing so one inch from my face. I knew if I’d have been a smaller individual he would have committed battery on me as well as assault Exiting the store he still continued with the manner of a thug rather than a person who was being paid to do a function of the business they chose to work in.I then exited the store and immediately boarded my bus which had pulled up.
Suggested solution:
I feel that an apology would not be in order because it'd be worthless to someone who is willing to go to the means of felonious assault I think is a little too late.
Minimally, they both should be dealt with however extremely as they were to me.
I know that there are any number of cameras and recording equipment operating at all times in Circle k's
So it is that every word I state her can be validated by rewinding the security tape and see it for yourself. The time was approximately 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday August 10th. I will not surprise me if they don't attempt to erase the tapes di.e. to their absolutely inappropriate actions. I would have been well within my rights to have that person arrested and had I not been sizeable larger than that man he no doubt would have commenced battering me. And this would be a whole different inquiry. I have some time to consider whether criminal complaint is in order but surely I'd be within my right to do so, and unless Circle K deals with it I will never be doing business with them again.
