My complaint:
At 5:58 pm, I called to ask for a return service call from Choice at 888-531-5403. The young man had asked me for the old claim number in which I replied that I didn’t have it readily available to me but that if I really had to have it I could get it when I went into the house. He asked me for my home address and I gave it to him very slowly because of previous experiences with people who didn’t speak the language very well. I had to repeat my address on three other occasions; each time speaking very slowly. He would move on to other questions that he had previously asked like do you have your claim number. He then asked me a fourth time to repeat my address and I just said (you have asked me four times). He transferred my call to a sales agent who said he would transfer me back to Choice and no none ever answered the phone. After a few minutes (maybe five), someone lifted the phone and hung it up. This is so unprofessional.
Suggested solution:
The individual who answered that call at 5:58 pm on the July 22 should no longer be working in a customer service job. His inability to graspretain 3-4 numbers at a time is just not good enough. To have to repeat an address 4 times, breaking it down as I go, is reason enough (I believe) to be relieved. NOTE: I felt that he should have been able to pull up the data with the date of repair and the company's name performing the repair should have been good enough. I apologize if I'm incorrect.
