My complaint:
On August 15, 2023 I opened a new account with Chime and deposited some money from my other bank account. The following day I received an email from Chime that they have seen suspicious activity on my account and has to put my account on hold. I was also locked out of the app/ account. They requested documents for identity Verification purposes which I kept submitting but to no avail. It is now September 1, and I am yet to receive my money.
Additionally, I can no longer get through to anyone on the phone with Chime. Each call keeps saying there is a wait time of 5 minutes, then 15, minutes etc.
Suggested solution:
Return my money to me ASAP
