My complaint:
This complaint concerns your Balfour Park Vincent East London branch.
I have left this written complaint exactly one week to if the staff member I spoke to actually came back to me as she promised following my complaint. She ed that my phone number is 073 891 2917 is correct so no excuse can come up that she was unable to contact me, my phone call was on the 13 the March at 11.27 am
When I phoned your local number it was answered with a lot of unintelligible gabble in the background with a number of pauses after explaining I had a complaint followed by a rendering of ShopriteCheckers version of the hymm Oh how great we art ie how many staff we employ etcetera. Then the lady came on the line, I was not advised her name.
Now I come to my actual complaint and facts relating to it and will start at the beginning.
Saturday 1132023 I purchased from Crazy Srore a boxed replacement cellphone charging cable at 8.20 am I can supply photo of actual till slip. Placed item in shopping bag and proceeded to your premises. For the record my shopping bags consisted of one green cooler bag, one red shopping bag, three green bags and one white one. your surveillance cameras will note this when I check out. all these bags were hung on the hook at the rear of the shopping trolley.
proceeded to collect the items on my shopping list and finally checked out at 9.03.24 as per slip. the item purchased from the crazy store was in one of the shopping bags. I SAW IT AS I HANDED THE BAGS ACROSS TO THE PACKING AREA. all this will be seen on your surveillance cameras
Got home unpacked carrier bags an no box with USB cable, had no reason to check each bag for it before I left your premises as I assumed it had been left in the bag under the purchased items.
You may well ask why I did not phone yourselves right away. Phone battery was dead and you don’t have to be a Rocket Scientist to know I could not charge my phone battery as my replacement charging cable disappeared in your premises. have since managed to borrow a charging cable
Another gripe, I got a message from yourselves as my birthday on the 10th March I was to get a Sweety Pie could not find one, asked lady at bakery section who knew nothing about them, just gave up and proceeded to checkout.
Finally the surveillance cameras will have recorded the identity of the packer of my items and where he put the item removed from my shopping bag.
I at least expected to be contacted by the lady I spoke to and not totally ignored
