Carvana complaint: Delivery fee

My complaint:

I applied for a vehicle which clearly stated that the vehicle was mines it gave me the monthly payment amount and the terms. In doing so I paid 3,010.00 and a delivery fee of 990.00 only due to the fact that I was going to receive the vehicle that I purchased they also gave me a delivery date. After a couple days go by Carvana begin sending me emails in reference to needed my w2 1040 forms which I uploaded this continued for about a week I called on numerous occasions in reference to this situation.

A customer representative gave me an additional email to send my documents too in which I did. I called Carvana back to make sure that they received my information and was told that I should have not been given that email, At that time I chose too terminate the so called vehicle purchase that was really not approved I feel this is a scam and a way to take peoples hard earned money.

I was sent the 3010.00 the customer service person that I spoke to did not reference that they would keep my delivery fee. Also how can you keep a persons delivery fee if you truly weren’t canceling a vehicle that was clearly not approved. I will be reporting this to the better business bureau in reference to Carvanas practice. I don’t understand how you can approve someone before you get all the information needed.

Suggested solution:

I should receive my 990.00 back that’s owed to me there was never a vehicle to deliver because I was not approved. If this issue isn’t resolved I will seek legal action.
