My complaint:
I took out a warrenty with CarShield 5 month ago. Recently there was a issue with the Front Lower Control Arm. It took a while for CarShield to resolve the issue, with the part beeing shipped in by CarShield that cause undue delay. At the time when I took out the warrenty, I was told that any diagnostic charge needed for the repair would be re-embursed. I also enquired if there was an issue with Oxgen Sensor or Mass Air Flow Sensor, which are typical issues on Land Rover, if these would be covered. Again I was told that these would be covered.
When the claim was submitted, both the above was denied, and I was pointed to specific provision in the contract. Clearly the Sale team was dishonest. I ended paying $868.87 out of packet. I had a $100 deductable. I think that the company should have re-emburse the remainder $768.87. Hence I am making a complaint and have it posted on Complain.bis
