My complaint:

This is 3rd car purchased from car max. Our first 2 experiences were great hence why we went back for our third however; this experience has been dreadful since day 1 and it’s truly taking a toll on my health. We purchased the car in March 2023 from the Killeen location. When we first got the to pickup the car the car wasn’t there although the car was reserved and we completed our paperwork prior to arrival just needed to pay the down payment n sign any final docs. The salesman let us know after signing and taking the down payment that there was a mixup with the car and the car wasn’t there and that he was discussing with management which options we had. Then about 30mins later a man pulls up in the car and we left in the car back to San Antonio. it’s nowSeptember 2023 the car has been in the car max San Antonio service department on 3 separate occasions they have allegedly fixed or replaced multiple parts at car max’s experience we haven’t even had the car back from the service 30 days or nearing and the engine light is back on again, ac is messing up. I need my car for health appointments and taking my kids to school! We aren’t rich people, we came back to CarMax for our third car because of our car max usual carmax quality check. I want to know how! How did this car pass the alleged 125 point check if the engine light has came on 4/5 times since purchasing it in March 2023. How has this car been worked on by CarMax service department on three separate occasions but still having issues! My husband and I are already struggling this has been an awful year mentally, financially and emotionally. There is no way this car passed a TRUE 125 point inspection and no way the service department keeps missing ALL the true issues with this car. I would like a supervisor from corporate to give me a call to further discuss this very stressful and dreadful experience. No we didn’t purchase an extended warranty but CarMax absolutely decived us by clearly lying that a 125 quality check was done on this car when the check engine light has came on several times been serviced by CarMax on three occasions within a 6 month period. This car is a lemon and I absolutely feel taken advantage of. We trusted car max! We were loyal and respectful customers, we have been patient but this way of doing business is morally wrong!!!

That's a good question I have no idea at this point how this matter can be resolved but would definitely like to speak with a senior from the corporate office about what options we may have.
