My complaint:

I have called Capital One Auto three times today. My car engine is irreparable and it wasn’t due to an accident, so insurance is not involved. It just stopped working and I had it towed to the mechanics and they ed it was irreparable. I contacted the dealership and they cannot help because there’s no warranty (used car). I am moving out of state in 6 days and I cannot leave it in my parking spot.

All three operators had Filipino accents so thick, I could barely understand them. I grew up with Filipinos and can understand those with accents, but these operators had accents so thick I could not understand them, and I don’t think they understood me at all because they tried to tell me the same thing the previous one said. Only two of the three helped me. The first operator just cut off mid sentence. The phone wasn’t disconnected, but she was not saying anything. I tried saying things for a couple minutes before I hung up and called again.

And they have been putting me on the longest 1-2 minute holds….I’ve been on this current call for 25 minutes now, and this is the 1-2 minute hold they’ve been giving me.

There are also no options for my situation. And trying to speak to a human takes such a long time. It is highly inefficient. I understand that online, text, and mobile options are quick, but we should also be able to speak with a human without having to sift through recurring recordings. Terrible.

Suggested solution:

They need to understand what I am saying and I need to understand what they are saying. This is terrible. I'm going to try to transfer my auto loan to another company. And I will be cancelling my Capital One credit card.
