My complaint:

Toward the end of 2021, Capital one sent me a text asking me to do more business with account ending in 2348, which I agreed to. I sent the text back and contacted the credit department through customer Service. Then Capital One made an agreement that if I use my account ending in 2348, then Capital One would keep the $30,000 credit limit open on my account. Then after making several purchases my account was declined. According to capital One it was declined for three reasons. 1) Capital One put restrictions for limited use. 2) Capital One had a security Breach (which compromised my old e-mail address. 3) Capital One lowered the credit limit from $30,000 to $10,000 on this account. The reason why the credit limits were lowered was because I was not doing enough business according to capital One. Despite me given Capital One over $10,000 more business between Nov 2021 and June 18, 2022, it was good enough. I lived up to my part of the agreement. Capital One Broke theirs. I was willing to give Capital one $20,000 to $25,000 of more business, but it was declined. Now, Capital One has threatened to close my accounts and take away my points I earned on my purchases previously and from the current business i did. with them. I found that Capital One is reporting on credit Wise 25 to 50 points lower than any other creditor using the same credit bureau, the same credit model, date, and month. on the credit reports. Shame on Capital One..

Suggested solution:

Capital One should honor their agreement and put back the credit limits back to where they were especially on account ending with 2348, to $30,000 Therefore, I have been with Capital One for a long time. All I wanted was to do more business, but Capital One did not want to. The more business I did the more Capital One punished me for this. Keep in mind that Capital One on this account has not had any balance transfers or any lowered interest of purchases for a long time.
