I have been going to galabuzz bingo for years every Sunday night at ipswich and at various clubs all over the UK. I started using online galabuzz and enjoyed playing if I couldn’t find a bingo venue.in may I was contacted by an administrator of buzz bingo and was asked to answer questions about my online account.ie could I afford it,where did my money coming from how much pension I was receiving. I refused to answer due to data protection laws. I was told they would cancel my online account and I replied do so I would find another site .I also asked if that effected my sunday nights at bingo clubs and was told it wouldn’t. On sunday after not missing (apart from lockdown) any Sunday nights the manageress of buzz bingo told me I had to leave the club as my membership card had been cancelled this after I had played the 1st session.as I had come with other members I had to sit in reception for an hour till the bingo had finished.it was embarrassing and felt like a naughty boy at school put in the corner.
My last transaction online was made in May. 2020 why did it take 7 months to advise me my card was cancelled.irony is im still getting flyers from ipswich re promotions etc.the system needs urgent review.are they saying you can’t go to bingo halls if you don’t have an online account??? Seems that way to me
