My complaint:

Good afternoon.

I am emailing with regards to the above booking.
My wife has already emailed through RESOLVER and has heard nothing since she made the complaint on the 17th June literally half an hour after the incident so maybe you should call it UNRESOLVER so I thought I would try a second time and I EXPECT A RESPONSE

Myself and my wife were treated absolutely disgustingly by a member of the security staff.
We were driving to board the boat and as we were doing so the security tag fell off my rear view mirror where we had been told to hang it.
As it fell off both myself and my wife went to grab it to show to the member of staff who proceeded completely out of nowhere, jump in front of the car and screamed at the top of her voice for us to stop which we were doing anyway to put the tag back on the mirror.
I wound down the window of the car and apologised to the member of staff for the tag falling off and she just flew into a rage about her needing to see the security tag. I apologised calmly for a second time about it falling off but she was just absolutely fuming and shouting and screaming at myself and my wife (this is no exaggeration) as people were out of their cars listening to this. My wife calmly asked her not to be rude and to lower her voice which she didn’t do and then threatened me with the words do you want to sail to which I replied I will be sailing

She then checked our security tag and I said thank you and as I was moving away her words were FUCK OFF I just couldn’t believe what I had heard so I stopped the car and got out and said to her why did you tell me to FUCK OFF? to which she replied I didn’t, I said PISS OFF that is absolute rubbish, but clearly in her eyes that acceptable language to use also.
I asked her to get her supervisor who came over to me and I explained to him everything that had happened and he just smiled and said nothing. The member of staff in question even admitted to her supervisor that she had told me to FUCK OFF

Unfortunately I did not get the name of the female member of staff as I was in complete shock as to what had just happened.

We have used Brittany Ferries before and have never experienced anything like this.

Our crossing was ruined by this incident and my wife was absolutely in bits how we were treated. We lost our son recently to suicide aged only 20 and we are still trying to come to terms with that and was using this break away to try and forget about things for a while.

This member of staff should not be in a customer facing role. Nobody deserves to be treated like this , absolutely disgusting behaviour from that member of staff and from you as a company for allowing this to happen.

I expect a response within a week and not just some pathetic apology and that you will look into it.
I will take this all the way to the top if needed.
