My complaint:

This is in regards to my visit to Covent Garden site on Saturday.

We arrived for our 12:15 booking. 3 of us. We was taken downstairs. 25 minutes later, nobody has even addressed us or taken our drinks order. We had to call someone over. Started talking to the table next to us who arrived for their 12pm booking that had still not been served so we asked the waiter to sort them first. Finally ordered our drinks. We had to ask three times for our drinks, when we did finally get them the order was missing a drink, we then had to ask a further three times for the missing drink. Asked the waiter if my friend could swap the the lobster in the bottomless brunch for the prawns and was told absolutely not, asked to speak to a manager who agreed (the prawns was actually cheaper). I had the half lobster, my friend had the prawns and my other friend the BBQ. Wasn’t explained to how the order goes by anyone, so despite her wanting more of the chickenpulled pork she didn’t ask because by this point trying to get anyone’s attention or order anything was hard work. The tables surrounding us (2 with young children were also complaining) and staff were moaning to each other. We didn’t get chips served with our lobsterprawns so asked for them, the waiter said both prawns and lobster don’t come with chips, we asked for the menu, proved they did and then finally got our chips, a while after the prawns and lobster which is not how a meal should be. We were offered no sauces. Had to ask for the clipper for the lobster, again took at least 5 minutes to get to us. Asked for water with ice and lemon which we never got. The whole meal was a complete disaster. But to top it all off, we had some very cocky, rude young gentleman come to our table and I quote say “ladies you have gone well over your time, we need the table back” we literally started laughing and tried to explain we didn’t even get our drinks ordered till 25 sitting down, so our time was not up and we still had 20 minutes. He was having none of it. He said we needed to take the drinks upstairs. We didn’t even get to order dessert. Also the table next to us had three people, their sitting was at 12 and they were also doing the bottomless brunch, so if their booking was before ours why wasn’t they asked to leave?
We went upstairs and went to sit at the bar and was told no, and was pointed to a little barrel like table. The atmosphere upstairs was a little less shambolic. Though one waiter attempted to fill my glass and ended up spilling the drink which went on me. The whole experience was a complete shambles. I suggested coming to Big Easy for brunch, as I had been a few months prior with a different group of friends and we all had a great time. One of my friends wanted to go ROKA and I persuaded her to try Big Easy, I was so embarrassed by the whole experience I actually paid the whole bill myself whilst they were outside having a vape. This honestly was the worst bottomless brunch I have ever been too. It completely ruined what was meant to be a very special day.
To top it all off, I had stomach cramps all afternoon and evening, and given that the lobster was the only thing I had eaten all day (as well as few cold chips) I put it down to that.
I would like a refund please.
