Best Western complaint: Employee belittled me

My complaint:

Ok so I ordered the hot tub suite for the night. At close to 1am I stepped out to smoke. On the way out I briefly stopped at the desk where 2 employees were chatting, a llady was leaving and a gentleman was coming onto shift. After about 20 mins I’m walking from the side pool area to the front and the power goes out.
So I stand by the door but I can’t see inside due to the tint. After like 15mins I’m starting to get cold and I’m tryi be to get the employees attention however it was pointless so I sat across the door at a sitting area. 8 mins later the worker comes out shines a bright light at me and before I could jump up and say thank god I’m freezing he disappeared. Not saying or acknowledging me at all. At this time an elderly couple came back to the hotel and we were able to pry the outside doors open with little effort. Wish I would’ve retired that earlier. The other set of doors was locked. The lady is yelling and
The worker comes and lets us in and says power Will be out for approximately 3 12 hours. As he was talking to the lady about how she was going to get up to her room being that she isn’t a wheelchair I want around them to proceed to my first floor room at this time the worker yelled at me asked me where I was going and when I said to my room he said no you belong outside and he asked me for ID and I said it’s in the room. At this point I am very upset and the old lady is trying to call me down I know now why he never acknowledge me or let me in prior to this when he saw my reaction he let me go and just watched me proceed to my room and of course the door keys didn’t work the power was out however my partner let me in. Into a room where I sat for another three hours in the pitch black with no sound crying. I have called best Western and told them and they said they would have that hotel call me within five days however instead of calling me to offer me one room VIP con they told corporate that they were offering me that. I feel if they were sorry at all they would’ve made a phone call to me directly and offered me a VIP cut been seated room for a night. I am upset every day I think about what happened and the fact that I can’t get a refund for being without power and being treated like I don’t belong that’s a problem to me and it’s a problem that I’ve been dealing with for 2 12 weeks now it may not seem like a big deal to some but to me it has me in tears just thinking about it. Not to mention night time I was coming in to use the hot tub which I never got to even use they would and should have compensated me a room for the power being out but add the fact that the employee treated me like that they should also be issuing a full refund and a personal apology, I would think anyway apparently that’s not the case

Suggested solution:

Hotel manager should call apologize and ask if I feel a free vip compensated room
Is fare and seeing my pain should also absolutely add the refund in full.
