My complaint:

I paid for 3 days of going to this gym location, due to traveling around France. When me and my partner then paid for the entry and went through to the gym, a worker came straight up to us (while he was talking with someone through the entry and maybe not have been so kind to them) he started speaking, in French of course. And I am getting to grasp with some…but he rambled off a lot of words. He then did translation on his phone.

My partner went to the Paris location and never got stopped. He actually had a nice time (i used the hotel gym instead).

We waited so long while he typed out what felt like a long paragraph. He then went over to the vending machine with drinks and towels, etc, and pointed at the towel (which is in English) I said yeah, it says towel. He said we needed a towel. Which is not shown in the email with the QR, how would I know this? I travel around the world and I’ve never had this. If anything has happened in the past years I see spray bottles and paper towels, which is more logical. Not towels, that most of the time when people carry seem to be overly used and when were they last cleaned! (I’d say if using in a gym switch out daily but I doubt this happens) he said that he would let us use the gym with no towel this time, but this time only. We asked where is this information in the email, but he did not answer. Funny how it goes from talking to then ignoring. If it is such a rule, why is it not in the email with the QR code so I don’t get harassed when I walk in (i don’t work for the gym so I don’t know certain things) it was not professional of him. If it’s a rule, then why did he let it go even once? he was a very unhappy too it seemed.

I get he may be bored, I get he may not like his job…but you do not have to jump on people when they come in and at least answer one basic question I ask. I even showed him the email and said where does it say this, but of course, he ignores me. As an autistic person, I don’t need this. I want to be left alone if they’re rules be clear on emails (i also did not see signs seeing this maybe I missed them but I did not seem to see any I did look around), and just let people get on with their own thing. Also, what is hygienic is to have a worker or two several times be wiping down weights, seats, handles, vending machines, cardio equipment, pin-loaded pins that you change the weights with…etc. That would be hygienic to do these actions.

I get he wants to have some kind of power, I get he may think he is a threat. But he is not and he does not have the power he thinks he has.

He also pounces on everyone that comes in, very strange behavior.

If this rule is a must. Needs to be clearly shown and also needs to not be it’s okay this time but not the next. it makes the gym look like it does not even care about its own rules. Rene Moos, the Ceo, and the other people who are part of this gym and all it is need to be clear on what it wants from the customers.
