My complaint:

I purchased a brand new ASUS computer monitor from Amazon on August 1 last year. Just two months after the purchase, the screen frequently went black when connected to the computer, interfering with my normal use. For instance, if the screen suddenly turned black while I was working on a document, I had to wait a few seconds before it would restore. Consequently, I contacted their customer service and sent the monitor to their repair center. However, not only did they fail to fix the problem, but they also caused additional damage to my screen: 1) They bent the power plug. 2) A soft plastic part behind the screen was lost. 3) There is suspected structural damage to the frame, evidenced by gaps of varying sizes between the lower frame and the screen itself. After reporting this to their customer service, they asked me to send it back to their repair center, where I waited nearly 20 days. During this time, I informed their customer service about the problems caused by their repair center. ASUS customer service repeatedly assured me that they would contact the repair center for repairs. Yet, the screen returned from the repair center completely unrepaired, with the existing damage untouched, and it appeared as though they had never opened the package I sent. When I contacted them to request a return, they refused and did not acknowledge the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

Suggested solution:

Request ASUS process a refund for me, I will return the item
