Applebee’s complaint: Worst Restaurant Experience ever

My complaint:

My husband has a terminal lung disease. We’ve eaten at Applebee’s since they first opened and always loved it. Thought we would invite family to Applebee’s for husband’s 63rd and what we know is his last birthday dinner with his terminal illness. Never have been so disappointed. Never wondered what my food went through before it made it to may table. Monday night hardly anyone there. I arrive straight from work at about 5:30 so we could get table to fit family at. Family all arrive about 5:45 We finally started getting drinks and appetizers about 45 minutes after sitting down. No reason for the wait, not enough customer to create wait. There were no customers hardly even in building so don’t understand why the hour wait for food , drinks, etc.. My son was first to receive his food and his steak was still cold like just taken out of refrigerator, the cheese on his potatoes was not even melted just sprinkled straight out of package and potatoes were not even warm enough to melt the cheese. We received food one by one rather than everyone eating at same time. Food was horrible, I had a sticker on my steak that said SAT , wondered where in the heck the sticker wound up on my steak, from package, floor, where? When I showed the waitress the sticker on my steak she said she would talk to manager and see what she could do. No manager ever showed up. My green beans had something all over them and I don’t even know what it was, I have my food in frig in case we get sick so I can have them tested. Had eight people their and no one could even eat their food. My son paid $121.30 for my husband, me , wife, child and himself for the worst experience ever the last birthday dinner with his dad. I am requesting our money back. My Niece her husband Paid $55.22 for her meal that was not edible. Was like a frozen meal but in microwave but not warmed completely. My brother in law paid $27.00 for his and his wife’s food that was horrible. Waitress had incorrect charges on tickets and instead of correcting just moved charge from one bill to the other, could not get billing correct on tickets and just moved mistakes from one bill to the other rather than correcting tickets. Asked for my husbands birthday ice cream and it was so melted when we got it my son drank it wstraw. About 8:oo placed turned into club rather than restaurant, someone at bar cranked the music up, had my 2 year old granddaughter with us and really didn’t appreciate club atmosphere. Really wanted a nice , last birthday for my husband and family with him and was a nightmare. We have had many great times and meals at Applebee’s . I’ve worked wCorp managers and know if customer does not tell corporate what is going on they don’t know and hate to see Applebee’s business go away from not knowing what is happening at location . I would say give me gift certificates but I really don’t want to go back to this location and chance another meal, who knows what happens to the food here before it makes it to the table.
I had two long island tea’s and didn’t seem like any thing buy mix and coke for color, I am a light drinker and couldn’t tell I even had a drink.
I do not complain , I know peopleplaces have bad days but this was worse than ridiculous. I felt bad for the waitress, she to my knowledge didn’t cook the food and had no control over when it was ready or the condition of food when we received. it.

Suggested solution:

I want reimbursement for all three tickets.
Want to take my husband and family out for decent meal and atmosphere to celebrate my husbands last birthday where everyone is not upset and not throwing their money away. I felt so bad that I picked this restaurant to all of family to go to and spend their money at.
