My complaint:

I was putting the shopping from my trolley into the belt when the shop assistant on the till asked me to push back my trolley to let a man through. I turned to see a man on a disabled scooter queuing at the rear of the next till. She said to push the trolley back so he could come forward. I did. She called out to the man to move forward. A man in front of him justified to him while asking him to move forward. He responded he didn’t want to move close for social distancing reasons. She asked what he had said, I told her he did want to get close because of social distancing. She then turned to the assistant on the till he was queing on. She must have a naturally very loud voices ever word was clear. I was still unpacking my trolley when she began stating to the other assistant ‘you can’t help some people can you’ ‘you try to help but then they don’t want it’ ‘you can’t do right from wrong’ ‘if they are so vulnerable why don’t they shop on line or get someone to do it for them’ …and so on. When I walked to the till she was still taking about it and I said I didn’t think she should be talking about the man especially while he was still there, she responded angrily that she was just talking in general, I told I didn’t think it was an appropriate subject with him there. She continued to defend herself saying she was entitled to her opinion, by this time the man on the disabled scooter was moving forward. I told her I thought it was time she shut up about it now. She then began shouting and that she wouldn’t be spoken to like this I asked to speak to the manager. She shouted again she didn’t have to listen to this shit. I asked where the manager was she said on you want the manager I’ll get him she pressed the button stood up and started yelling about not standing for this shit. I told her she was being obnoxious she pushed my trolley out of the way again shouting in not standing for this shit stormed towards the managers door kicking it or the wall and punching it shouting you told me to shut up and I responded yes and I’m saying it again shut up. A man who I presume was the manager went into the office with her. The lady on the other till apologised to the eyes of customers waiting and experiencing the disturbance. Her behaviour and attitude need addressing. She does not represent your company at all well.
