Activision complaint: Locked Activision Accounts

My complaint:

I have 2 Activision accounts. I downloaded the COD app and accidentally logged in with my newer account. This soft locked my gamertag to my newer account despite having reasonable progress on my older Activision account. So my newer Activision account is now soft locked to a gamertag which is disused.

For those in the know you can only link external accounts to your Activision account once a year.

So I opened a ticket and provided all my details; for both accounts. Spoke with 2 members of customer support. The first one just didn’t reply and the second one informed me I’d need to open a second ticket for my second account. I opened ticket 1 on the 18-12-22. This was resolved 31-12-22. That’s 2 weeks. Customer service then informed me after a two week wait, I was back to square one and there was nothing they could do. I would have to open a second ticket to unblock my second account.

I’ve now missed out on any events they had running Christmas and new years. My issue still hasn’t been resolved nor does it look like it will be resolved any time soon.

I also attempted to ring Blizzard Activision but they don’t answer the phones.

Suggested solution:

Hire more staff have a direct method of contact. My issue isn't uncommon and isn't a major issue to resolve. I've paid for a game which I cannot play at the moment. Having to wait an expected month to have an account unlocked is unrealistic and unfair. Especially given I have paid for the service.
