My complaint:

On 04/03/24 I was picking up a few groceries. Because it was food stamp day, lines were long and cart loads were huge. I asked my checker to just hand me my groceries in the are where the two belts come together and moved a loaf of bread to the full belt nearest me. The checker snapped at me to not touch the other customer’s groceries. I told her she needed to calm down, to which she replied I needed to calm down. The third customer, who was bagging her groceries on the second bet, came around to pay and the cashier told me to step back to give her room. The other customer told the cashier I was not in her way. I told the cashier she needed a better attitude. The cashier replied I needed a better attitude. The cashier then told me she could make check-out even longer for me by closing and walking away. I needed the items I was purchasing, so I stayed in line. The checker then proceeded to check my items and toss them in my direction, including dumping my veggies etc in the area I was attempting to bag them. Why is this woman allowed to interact with the public? She really needs to lose her job for such incredibly rude treatment of a customer, who has shopped at WINCO for the past 25 years. In my nearly 70 years of living I have never received such appalling treatment!

Suggested solution:

Give her a suspension or total loss of employment, and make a formal apology to me.
