My complaint:
Varo closed my account and mailed me a check with the remaining balance. I haven’t had any success cashing the check they sent me. i have had more then one place tell me its a fake check. the check is for a little over $1800. I dont know how banks can close out accounts with notice. the reason they closed my account was because i withdrew an amount of money that exceeded the limit first at the atm and then i pulled off more money at walmart. doing this cause my account to get flagged, instead of contacting me they just close the account. the money i withdrew was for a vehicle but when i realized i wouldnt be able to get anymore money from my account i had to change my plans and spend the car money on christmas presents for my 3 children. i never thought for one minute that i wouldnt be able to get what rightfully mine. the checks are no longer good after 90 days. here i am almost 2 years later wondering why i still havent received my money and how come the bank just acts like this is perfectly normal to do people this way. please help me find my money thank you
Suggested solution:
i would be satisfied if varo did the right thing and deposited my money into my new account. Not everyone has the ability to cash checks that large.
