My complaint:
to Uber
I am so angry with you Uber Eats. You gave me appalling service last Wednesday.
I was sick and was not able to cook.
I chose an Uber Eat meal and at 6:10 I thought I had paid for it. As I am new to Uber Eat I did not realise that my payment had not gone through.
I knew the restaurant I chose supplied food within 45 minutes so my husband and I confidently expected food at 6:55. When it did not arrive I checked my phone which said ‘Scheduled delivery between 7 and 7:30.
At 7:40 when it had not arrived I checked my phone again. You reported that the restaurant had gone offline while I was booking. This would have been at ~6:50. BUT YOU DID NOT TELL ME THIS UNTIL 7:40pm.
This was outrageous service.
As I said I was sick and not able to cook so my husband made a dinner of baked beans and boiled eggs.
I shall use other methods of ordering food in the future. I have only just obtained an iphone and had been looking forward to using your service.

They should have told me immediately that they could not process my order instead of giving me wrong information for 1.5 hours
