My complaint:
I received a phone call at 18:46 from 01388436857 where a man informed me they were cancelling my order with Subway in the Esso garage on Durham Road Sunderland did not have all of the food items to fulfil my order, I asked if the whole order would be cancelled as if that was the case I didn’t want it , he said yes. after thinking about it for a few minutes we found the number for the subway directly phoned it at 6.54pm 0191 5142658 and asked if it was the case and the man on the phone said yes its cancelled as we don’t have the meatballs, over 1 hour later I received another call asking for my door number as the Uber eat order was here , I tried the 01388 number and it was automated and cut me off after saying basically deal with whatever on line- we then phoned the subway regarding this and they said we have to claim off Uber eats as they had given me a replacement sandwich without meatballs and the money would be charged and we have to go to Uber to get a refund – absolute shambles
Suggested solution:
line of communication between them and the shop needs to be 1000% better than it is , both Subway and Uber stated the order was cancelled yet the order was delivered but not what I ordered as they deemed to offer me the sandwich minus the meatballs -
DO NOT PAY SUBWAY as this was cancelled and at their negligence or devious ways they tried to deliver an incorrect order at 7.38pm some 90mins after the placing of the order and 54mins after it was ed it was cancelled-
