My complaint:

Travelodge customer services is non-existent! I booked Bracknell Central Travelodge twice in April,, on the 17th and 30th. On the 16th April I contaced the hotel to request an early check-in and only then did I find out that both bookings had been cancelled owing to Covid regulations. I understood this, but the point is that I was told by Travelodge that they were in the process of emailing all affected customers and issuing refunds. After waiting a month and not receiving any email, I contacted Travelodge by phone and was given a case number by email, which I was told would be dealt with within 7-10 working days. That was on 21st May and it is now the 16th June. I just called again – even though there is actually no direct number for customer services – and was fobbed off yet again without being allowed to speak to anyone in customer services. I think it is disgusting that there is no direct number for customer services – mind you, I can understand why now, after the lack of service i have received. And yes I know how busy you have been which is why I have allowed plenty of time for this case to be settled. I have never been treated so abominably by any other hotel, or indeed any other type of business in my life. PLEASE DEAL WITH THIS IMMEDIATELY.
