TransUnion complaint: Escalation of intransigent TU to resolve inaccurate information

My complaint:

I have been trying for over two years to correct inaccurate and fraudulent information contained on my various credit reports. Even though those efforts finally yielded positive results with the two other CBs, TU has been persistently intransigent in correcting egregiously inaccurate information.

When all a merchant does in response to a dispute is send a letter to TU that simply says,Information verified, it does not in any way prove anything. Yet TU assumes the validity letter is ation and proof of the disputed charges.

Recently TU was actually persuaded to send a followup letter of dispute asking for any proof the merchant has which supports their claim of validity that actually proves the charges are truly verified. TU also includes a request that the merchant’s response shall include copies of customer’s originally signed documents containing their signature that proves it belongs to them.

When all TU is met with is complete silence and unlike the actions taken by other credit reporting services, TU does NOTHING. The unproven, inaccurate and falsely verified transactions remain. The customer continues to be harmed by the refusal of the merchant to substantiate and prove that what they are reporting is accurate and TU is facilitating the harm I am being subjected to when TU does NOTHING. This is wrong. It is wholly inequitable. TU MUST remove these UNSUBSTANTIATED charges from my CR immediately.

Suggested solution:

Two disputes with US Bank must be removed from my TU credit report as USB has thus far refused to answer requests to provide actual proof that the disputed charges are mine.
