My complaint:

Perhaps you could be of assistance. No one else seems to want to help. I would like to address an issue with a local HUD public housing community- Harbor Rains. Please help protect the underprivileged, elderly and underserved!

I would like to express a complaint against the current property manager of Harbor Rains ( also known as Raintree) located at 601 Saunders Avenue Hinesville Ga 31313- Ms.Jennifer Gross.

Many residents fear getting evicted due to Ms.Gross’s nefarious threats and actions. I’m sure Ms. Gross goes above and beyond to meet the quota and expectations that (TISHCO- property management company) requires numerically ,however she has great deficits when dealing with actually community concerns and maintaining the actual community.

If you have made physical visits to the property, you will easily notice that there is volumes of trash, potholes large enough to destroy cars, pets and animals roaming everywhere, unused vehicles. Also apartments are clearly not up to code. To my knowledge, pets are not allowed, yet most of the community has a pet. None of the apartments are up to code. Living death traps!

Ms. Gross should invest more time in fixing and truly addressing community concerns instead of threatening , harassing and scaring them into silence. She is an unscrupulous human being , who steals company funds and finds ways to get residents evicted. She tirelessly finds ways to assign erroneous lease violations to residents .

In addition, we are still in a pandemic and she and the staff refuse to wear masks . Yes we are made aware to enter the office at our own risk. However on the door , it states mask are required. The staff should be held to those same standards.

Ms. Gross has already endangered residents by catching and spreading COVID and residents were not notified . Home office decided to send a degrading letter defending her and staff instead of apologizing to those same residents who allow this contract with HUD and TISHCO to take place.

Ms. Gross creates degrading monthly newsletters that focus on catching residents and giving them lease violations. She even puts smiley faces on eviction notices and lease violations.

She finds joy in another person’s downfall.
She has stated on numerous occasions that her spouse is law enforcement and uses that as a threat. She takes advantage of her personal circumstances and makes racial remarks to residents despite having an African American spouse . She has said on numerous occasions that no one will believe us because we are just low income thugs. She says must of us don’t have real jobs and try to get over on the government. She states how if we worked hard we would be driving a mustang like her instead of walking . She yells at residents and constantly puts down the resident and laughs about it. She even told a resident she will not rest until she finds out if her husband is a criminal and went above and beyond to see if they were married.

Living in Harbor rains for over a decade, I have seen a great deal of staff, but this group has been the worse set. This includes the office admin( Christina). She isn’t as aggressive, but she is just as vindictive. She lies and covers up for Ms. Gross constantly.

I do hope you take this complaint seriously. Bottom line, Ms. Gross needs to be fired. Please assist if you can. Residents are feeling hopeless! Tishco will defend its staff instead of protecting its residents
