Subway complaint: Wrong orders because of socializing

My complaint:

Because someone who was obviously a friend of the staff was standing with her son by the counter, loudly conversing for a long time while her order was being prepared, I had to social distance back in the store and yell my orders from there. The preparer got both orders wrong. The friend then went to the side, near the cash register, and had a conversation with someone from the back who was not wearing her mask over her mouth and nose. I had to try to distance myself between them and her son, who was walking around, in order to pay. I ended up with two tasteless veggie wraps because they failed to put dressing on one and failed to put sweet peppers on the other although I said to leave off the hot peppers.

Suggested solution:

I should get a refund. They should limit the socializing, adhere to masks, social distancing and turn taking, and make sure they can hear the correct order.

3 years ago - The response from Subway was that the employee was in the back. If she was in the back, I wouldn't have seen her and had to avoid her when I paid my check, now would I?

You can order via the Subway app. Then, when you order& prepay via the app, your order is already made for you once you arrive at Subway. Next, you pay. Finally, you leave with little to no interruptions….

In regards to the back employer with no mask on, they were in the back of the damn store. They don’t need a mask when they’re not dealing with customers, and this customer sounds like a friend or a regular as you said. However, still… Employees are allowed to unmask when on break.

So, no worries of corona on your veggie wrap.
