Subway complaint: Terrible subs and service

My complaint:

I have been a dedicated subway customer for years and have always enjoyed indulging in my favorite chicken breast sub with all the fixings.

That was until I ordered that same sub from a certain employee 2 days in a row. I don’t understand how he could be so pushy and incompetent. My first time in he without asking, he put it in the oven to toast the bread, which I don’t like. I questioned him half way through the process with my displeasure, but still he continued. It’s like he makes his own rules! Once the sub came out he pushed it along knowing I didn’t want it toasted. I didn’t want a confrontation, hey I’m only a paying customer, right?

He continued on to miss half of the toppings I selected and I took home the sub he apparently thought was a better choice than what I actually wanted. By the time I attempted to eat it which was 15 mins later, the bread was hard as a rock because he toasted it and it was lacking the toppings I normally prefer. It went in the garbage!

The next visit I was ordering 2 subs one for me and my fiance hoping not to have to deal with him. Unfortunately, it was him again. No worries I thought, maybe he just had a bad day. No he’s obviously stubborn! He again automatically doesn’t slice the bread on either sub like usual, he slices it on a cooking rack and automatically, without asking, again, proceeds to put it in to be toasted. Why?

Anyways, I asked him nicely to take it out….again! He asks why don’t you want it toasted? Then proceeded to gave me a dirty look and a huff as he removed it.

From then on with both subs he put on the veggies etc as requested but then out of spite absolutely soaked both subs with sub sauce to the point where when I got home (a 2 minute drive away) the sauce had soaked through both subs to the point they were not edible.

When did your employees become sub critics to the point they think they know what their customers prefer?

If I wanted his style of sub along with a bad attitude, I would have requested it that way!

That’s $40 down the tubes and the absolute worst Subway experience 2 days in a row.

I didn't catch or want to know his name but he was on day shift both times with a female who was very kind. Mar 26-28th

Please retrain this employee and teach him proper customer service skills.
