Subway complaint: Discourteous Customer Service by Cashier Diana

My complaint:

I visited this location Monday, August 16, 2021 at approximately 12:30 PM. I ordered a Mega Meat footlong Subway meal to go. The sandwich staff were friendly, courteous, helpful, and efficient. When it came time to pay, I gave a £20 note to cashier Diana and requested two £5 notes in my change so I could leave a tip (my bill was £9.99). She brusquely informed me she could not make that kind of change, although I observed her till to be BRIMMING with metal £1 and £2 coins. I was NOT given a paper receipt for my purchase. I left with my change and a feeling that I was not valued as a customer.

Suggested solution:

Perhaps someone could explain to Diana that a customer is the REASON for her job, and not an INTERRUPTION or ANNOYANCE of it. By the way, if tips to staff are expressly forbidden, please let me know when you respond to this e-mail and I will discontinue this practice. I have visited this store for 10 years each year on holiday and would like to continue to do so.
