Six Flags complaint: A Serious Jip of a Family Day!!! Shame on YOU Six Flags

My complaint:

Six Flag advertises itself a day of Family Fun!! You should advertise your theme park as a Day of Family WAIT, Rides NOT Working, Rides Breaking Down, $100 Hamburger Meal for 3 and that is SHARING A DRINK!! O and don’t forget about the $40 Parking and Disgusting Dirty Bathrooms and Park in general! We visited your park on July 30, 2022 to celebrate a birthday for our 14 year old. What a huge disappointment!! We paid regular price for entry tickets for 5 people just to discover that more than 12 of your rides were not open! Less than 12 of your rides were operating that day. On top of that, the wait time was over 1 hour a ride; 1.5 hours for some rides. We waited 45 minutes in one line (Superman) just to be told that the ride had broken down with no ETA so they asked everyone to leave the line. We wasted 45 minutes for that ride. In another ride (Medusa) while waiting in line for over an hour, the ride was stopped 3 times, each time over 10 minutes adding an add’l 30 wait to ride for a total wait of 1.5 hrs for a 2 minute ride. We got there at 1pm and left at 8pm and during that time, we waited over 4 hours for 3 rides and only got to ride 2. We paid Full price for our tickets and only got to ride 2. We looked for a place to eat something and there were only 2 places to eat. A hamburgerhotdog grill and a Turkey leg place $16.99 for a turkey leg. We paid $100 for 3 Hamburgers and Hotdog and shared a drink. One person opted not to eat because your prices were ridiculous for food. We went to Universal Studios earlier this year and even they don’t rape people on Parking and food. So much for Family Fun! Then we made the fatal mistake of going into your bathrooms that were disgusting and definitely not being cleaned at all. It’s like you took Marine World, threw a bunch of Carnival rides and called it a theme park. What a huge Let down! I’ve never gone to a theme park where they pack in the number of people you did on a Saturday and then close down over 12 the rides leaving a small number of rides for all those people to line up and wait for and then having issues with the rides due to the numbers of times the ride is being operated since there are no rides for everyone to spread out amongst. Even the Fast pass lines were long! I would have been fit to be tied if we had purchased those passes just to have to wait in long lines anyway because you choose to shut down more than 12 the rides and yet pack the people in! I stopped to ask someone standing at a ride that was closed and asked if the ride was broken and she said no, its just not operating today. What???? There was no notice given on your website to inform the public that more than 12 the rides would be closed?? Needless to say, it was not Family Fun day… My Granddaughter named it Family Wait Day…. I asked her on the way home what she would like to do for her next birthday and she said, Not Six Flags… Anywhere BUT Six Flags…. That’s pretty sad since it was she that had wanted to come to Six Flags for her birthday so thank you for Spoiling her 14 birthday that she will forever remember celebrating it WAITING.,,,

Suggested solution:

You should DEFINITELY return the cost of the tickets so we could take her somewhere else where she will actually get to ride more than 2 rides......and go to the restroom without fear she'll catch something.....

You shouldn't be allowed to screw families over like this... Something tells me you won't be open much longer.........
