My complaint:
I am filing a complaint regarding our recent stay at the Radisson Covington, Ohio. Our stay was from July 19-23.
The hotel smelled like old cigarettes.
THE ROOM
-Clammy, musty smell.
-The carpeting was stained and dirty.
-The tub and shower were dirty.
-We had to call to get a shower curtain.
There were no housekeeping services at all, so our room was not cleaned and beds not made, etc. at any time. Towels became smelly with nowhere to put them.
The room did not look prepared for guests:
-The dust ruffles on the beds were partially pulled from the mattress and hanging down.
-The fitted sheet did not fit the mattress.
-The sheets were wrinkled upon arrival.
-The sheets and comforter had BLOOD STAINS on them!
AMENITIES
-The coffee maker had a short cord with no outlet to plug into. It had to be moved to the opposite end of the desk to plug it in.
-The wall lamp closest to the right bed was broken and hung crooked on the wall.
-There was no way to adjust the AC. The only option was to turn it off, and the only way to do that was to get down on the dirty carpet and unplug it underneath the unit.
-Some of the charger outlets didn’t work.
Breakfast was $15 on top of the $200 per night charge.
There were groups of people sitting outside the hotel lobby at night talking and smoking.
We booked at the Radisson because it has always been a high end selection with great service and clean rooms. I was more than disappointed. I was appalled.
Suggested solution:
Considering the horrific accommodations and no services, not to mention the dried blood on the bedding, we\'d like a refund or compensation.
