My complaint:

In December of 2021 my account was accessed via fraudulent sources. I was an unknowing accessory to the removal of $4,00.00 from my checking account. I did this through purchase of $4,000.00 of gift cards with my PNC Visa card. I allowed the crooks access to my computer. I reported the above to PNC Bank personnel oa 121721. PNC Bank advised me they would begin an investigation which would take approximately 90 days. PNC replaced the $4,000.00 which I had taken from my account After 90 days I received notice from PNC that the $4,00.00 would be removed from my account. It was. Also, via the same correspondence I was advised that if I desired a copy of the investigation to call a number provided. I called that number. As of today I have not received copy of the investigation findings. Further, I have over $7,000.00 on deposit with PNC Bank. As of today, I do NOT have access to use those monies via PNC Online Banking. Further, I was advised that I must close my old account and open a new account.
I opened a new account. Last week I was told that I could open my old account. I did, with help of PNC personnel. Last week I paid bills through PNC online Banking. Today I am unable to access PNC Online Banking, although there is over $7,000.00 shown in my account. I’m am having to pay creditors via cash ao check on another financial institution, as I am unable to access funds on deposit with PNC Bank.
I have spoken with PNC representative Mari of the PNC complaint department, who has certainly been rude, and less than helpful. Iam an unhappy 30 year plus PNC customer. Feel I am being viewed as a depositor, not a customer.

Suggested solution:

Provide me with immediate access to my funds on deposit. Provide access to my monies so I may pay bills through PNC ONLINE BANKING. REIMBURSE ME FOR FUNDS I HAVE HAD TO PAY TO RETAIN MY 840 CREDIT RATING WITH EXPERIAN. INFORM MY CREDITORS OF THE REASON MY FUNDS HAVE BEEN 'LOCKED. It is embarrassing to have creditors call and tell me my bill is delinquent and there will be a late fee.
Funds are available in my account, I just don't have access to them via PNC ONLINE BANKING.
