My complaint:
I got in touch with park dean using their online chat service.
Unfortunately we have to cancel our holiday for the 3rd-6th September, I contacted them on on the 11th July, AM
I also contacted them as soon as I found out we were unable to go on our holiday
My husband is is the army and due to deploy 2 days before we are due to visit park dean.
We have paid £259 and park dean will only refund us £86 and refuse to adjust our dates.
I understand for a full refund or adjustment you must give 70 days notice, I have given 53 days, as soon as I found our we were unable to go.
Due to the circumstances I don’t think its fair to be only refunded £86, I understand they have a policy but its not like I’ve decided to just not go. There is nothing I can do about my husband being deployed.
Suggested solution:
Either refund the full amount or allow us to move the our holiday to a later date
