My complaint:

on my resent holiday at Camarthen bay on the 18th april to 24th april i had a very bad experience in your club entertainment venue due to your order app phone system when we arrived we tried to use it in the restaurant to order our dinner we had so many problems a security man helped us get on it and order our food it was quite stressful that evening my son helped us order some drinks in the club very enjoyable entertainment the next night my wife and i went for a drink in the club without our son and i soon had problems with the app so couldn’t order any drinks we sat for ages then i saw one of the security men that had helped us to ask for help by this time i was feeling very flustered and stupid because i couldn’t use it the security man could see i was upset and said don’t worry if you go to the bar and explain you cant work the app the bar will serve you with your card i started to explain and the bar staff member started shouting at me who told you you could come to the bar i tried to explain but all he was interested in was who had told me i wasn’t very happy and started feeling anxious and just said don’t bother with the drinks im going not once did he apologize or come after me and ask what we wanted to drink at this i left. the next day i went to reception and explained i spoke to the club house manager who explain this was how food and drink had to be ordered because of covid and understood the problems i was having with the app she explained the staff were under pressure because of sickness from covid that i can understand she said she would speak to her staff about it and offered me an old envelope with let this man pay by card at the bar and she signed it i think she thought that was enough but im not of that view my family didn’t venture in the restaurant or club house for the rest of the week i still to this day never had a proper apology for how rude and aggressively i was spoken to and as your sited in such a lovely spot my wife and i spent the evening with ice cream by the sea and didn’t spen another penny in your holiday village

Suggested solution:

firstly train your staff not to be so rude manners cost everything although there were some very helpfull nice staff just not the ones at the bar also maybe you should think about people who are not good with mobiles phones there are plenty of us out there specially the elderly at one holiday village i went to in the middle of the pandemic you got your table number qued at the bar using social distancing paid with your card at the bar then someone bought the drinks to our table no problems its a shame as this is our second visit to carmarthen bay but will be are last
