OReilly Auto Parts complaint: Employee lack of knowledge or just a flat out lie

My complaint:

Oreilly employees two of them told me when you replace a battery in a 2015 Ram 1500 that the computer has to be reset so the alternator will recognize the new battery. Then I was told you can go to 1 of 2 places locally to have it done. I drove one way 20 miles to find out from an honest owner that I was told wrong. He took the time to look up my vehicle and verified it was a flat out lack of knowledge or a flat out lie or they didn’t want to put the battery in your truck.

Suggested solution:

Gift card in the amount of $50 for my lost time and gas reimbursement
