My complaint:
I was in Ollie’s on September the 18th 2020 I was in the first Lane closest to the entry door a short African American older lady with glasses treating me very disrespectful I walked up to put my stuff on the counter mind you the counter is right there next to the register she said to me you need to get back 6 ft. I stated how rude the correct statement would have been ma’am if you don’t mind moving back 6 ft thank you. The pandemic is something that we’re used to I know I need to back up and six feet but there is no way possible to do that if I’m putting my items on the counter so at that time she needed to back up while I was putting my items on the counter and then when I step away she would come back to the register that would have been the proper way to handle it. I live behind Ollie’s and shop their frequent three times a week at least. I will never be disrespected no one tells me you need to and the tone of voice she stated. I said to her you are very rude and disrespectful and she said anyway like I said you need to get back 6 ft not please not thank you not anything respectful when I asked her for a customer service number of someone who I can call to make a complaint she said again anyway next customer please. so she outright ignored my question I then went to another associate at the furthest by the exit door line. she was very nice and very respectful and apologized for the way I was treated everyone who was behind me agreed and we had a conversation about it outside of Ollie’s. again not the proper way to talk to a customer. I have never been I have never been the one to complain have never been the one to even approach a situation I just let it go even if the other person was disrespectful but this was very very unprofessional unacceptable and I will not be treated that way I asked her for her name she would not give it to me either so all I can tell you is that she was an older woman she works there all the time and she was short and she wears glasses to see the computer screen and sometimes has on a curly wig. the other associate that was working that day another African American lady taller darker skin was my witness as well. this person needs to be addressed this person needs to have some type of customer service skill training every time I go in there and I've been going in there for a long time now as I live in the vicinity and she is never been anything but rude every time I go in there and I've had about enough do what it is you feel that you need to do but if it continues I will get a hold of the better business bureau and anyone else who I would need to speak with about this
