My complaint:
I won’t watch the show, I’m disappointed they replaced a Latina and Asian Wink character with white characters, it doesn’t represent the original Winx cast diversity, it takes away from the character’s uniqueness. I’m half Chinese myself so one of the characters that were supposed to be Asian and specifically half Chinese being not actually half Asian or Chinese is a disservice. I’m mad at Netflix, do better. Hire diverse casts it’s possible, do better at advertising for hiring and get it right, I can’t bring myself to watch the show. It feels sick to my stomach. The United States is full of girls from all different cultures and Winx was, that’s why it was so popular, you’re losing whole fan bases, Latina and Asian, you guys can suck it.
Suggested solution:
Take off the show from my Netflix right away, do better, stop whitewashing shows! Hire a diverse cast, it's possible, the United States is full of diversity to hire actors, don't whitewash again! Honestly, I'm going to delete my Netflix and never use it again, you guys suck! This is the first thing I'm actually incredibly mad about, I hate this, stop being assholes, do it right! I love Rom Coms and you guys make good ones, but making something like this without thought or care fucks it up. If you guys change as a company, I'll come back, but I don't want to see Netflix again. I want Winx to be canceled and done fucking right and every other fucking show you guys probably whitewashed and I didn't notice. It fucking hurts.
